Two-story glass cubes display thousands
of pieces including Native American
artifacts and Paleolithic art. The museum
allows visitors to witness the actual
workings of a museum.
Poetry Gardens

relaxing, the Poetry Gardens were
designed by world-renowned artist Siah
Armajani. The gardens sit next to the
Logan Museum.

Now a visitor information center, the
Water Works Pump House was built in
1885 and was the site of Beloit's first
municipal water system. The Stone
Water Tower, built in 1889, is listed on
the National Historic Register.
The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator houses a gallery,
educational classrooms, and artist studios. The
Gallery highlights resident artists and regional
shows.
A fine collection of public sculpture, including
works by esteemed artist Siah Armajani and
former professors Arnold Popinsky and O.
Verne Shaffer, grace the Beloit College campus.
Guests can visit the changing exhibits at the
Solem Museum, pay homage to Beloit athletes
in Ted Perring Sports Hall of Fame, and visit
the Arthur Missner Veterans Gallery.
The Beloit College Campus contains 23 conical,
linear, and animal-shaped effigy mounds built
between 700 and 1200 by Native Americans.
