Cornerstone Church - Experience The Difference
Pastor Metzger was born and raised in the Wheaton,
Illinois area. He joined the U.S. Air-Force upon High School
graduation and served for five years, after which he
enrolled at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Earning a bachelor degree form Lee, Pastor Metzger
taught Bible in the Public School system in Northwest
Georgia for four years and then enrolled in at
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth,
Texas. At Southwestern he earned a Masters of Divinity
degree.

Pastor Metzger joined the U.S. Navy as a military Chaplain
and served with both the Navy and Marine Corp. He retired
after 26 years as a Naval Commander. Amidst many
arduous tours of duty, Pastor Metzger found time to earn a
Masters of Theology degree from Princeton University in
New Jersey and, additionally, fulfilled all requirements and
was awarded the Doctorate of Ministries degree from
Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Florida.

Pastor Metzger and his lovely wife Patricia have two
married children and four grandchildren. The Metzger's
and their children have always been involved in both
church ministry and community activities wherever they
have been.

Pastor and Patti have served at Cornerstone for the past
ten years.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Reverand Vito Crecca
Pastor Vito M. Crecca serves Cornerstone as both an
Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. He was born on
January 14, 1974 in Nutley, N.J., where he lived until
joining the U.S. Navy at age eighteen following his high
school graduation. During his subsequent fifteen years of
military service, Pastor Vito completed his post secondary
education by graduating Magma Cum Laude with a
Bachelors of Arts degree from Judson University in Elgin ,
Illinois. Pastor Vito has also recently graduated from
Liberty Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity
degree.

Additional accomplishments of interest include certification
as a Master Training Specialist, Financial Specialist, and
qualification as a member of the Submarine Warfare
community.

Pastor Vito and his wife, Christi Michelle, have been
married for seven years and currently reside in Beloit
Wisconsin with their three beautiful children. Pastor Vito's
limited and very valuable spare time is often spent with his
family, reading from any number of favorite authors,
watching television, or at the gym.
